The $2,500 Star Scholarship from the PEO Sisterhood was awarded to Aleah DeSchmidt, a graduating senior at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish. She was nominated by the PEO Chapter IA, of Mill Creek. DeSchmidt plans to study biomedical engineering at the University of Washington.
