Person injured in apartment fire in Everett

The fire was contained to one unit, but a female was injured and taken to a hospital.

EVERETT — A person was injured after a fire at an apartment building Wednesday morning.

The damage was contained to one unit in the 3200 block of Nassau Street, the Everett Fire Department said.

The female had burns and was taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
