EVERETT — The Everett Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Sunday at a south Everett drugstore.
Police released a surveillance video from a store security camera this afternoon.
On Sunday a man went into the Walgreens Drug Store in the 6800 block of Evergreen Way about 2:25 p.m., jumped over the pharmacy counter while brandishing a handgun and ordered employees to the floor, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
The man then demanded OxyContin from the pharmacist. The pharmacist, who was terrified, complied with the man’s demands, Goetz said.
The man ran out the front door. No one was injured during the incident, Goetz said.
The man is described as white, late teens to early 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and red gloves.
Police on Thursday released a surveillance camera photo of the suspect.
