LYNNWOOD — Traffic was backed up on southbound I-5 from Alderwood mall to 128th Street on Friday evening.
A pickup truck lost an axle just before 5:30 p.m. Friday, transportation officials said. The two right lanes were still blocked at 6 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Medics and Washington State Patrol were at the scene. Tow trucks are en route.
