STANWOOD – A 43-year-old woman was injured Thursday when she lost control of the pickup she was driving and crashed on I-5.
Jody Boyd of Camano Island had just merged onto southbound I-5 from Highway 532 about 11:30 a.m. when she lost control and rolled several times on the right shoulder of the freeway, according to the Washington State Patrol.
She was treated for injuries at Providence Everett Medical Center Colby campus.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused her truck to leave the road.
