MUKILTEO — A 51-year-old man from Woodinville survived when the small airplane he was piloting crashed on a road about half a mile from Paine Field.
The crash was reported about 12:40 p.m. in the 12200 block of Cyrus Way. Two pilot, who was flying alone, was taken to Providence Everett Medical Center Colby campus for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Mukilteo police detective Lance Smith said.
Investigators said the pilot was preparing to land at Paine Field when his plane went down. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
