Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man with $5,000 to $6,000 worth of crystallized methamphetamine and a large amount of cash Tuesday night in Arlington, police said.
Deputy Rich Niebusch said investigators believe the man was “definitely a dealer” and called the arrest “a pretty good bust.”
The arrest was made after a traffic stop at 8:41 p.m. in the parking lot of Angel of the Winds Casino in the 3400 block of Stillaguamish Lane. The suspect ran off, and police pursued him. A pit bull from another vehicle not associated with the chase started running after the man, too, Niebusch said.
Both the dog and the suspect were caught. The dog was put back in the car he came from. The man, who had outstanding warrants, was booked into jail.
