As the area’s temperatures soar, some Snohomish County communities are opening up their air-conditioned doors to offer respite from the heat.
Seniors and youngsters are both more susceptible to suffer dehydration, overheating and other adverse health affects from the heat.
If you know about a cooling center, please e-mail newstips@heraldnet.com or call 425-339-3451.
Here are some options:
Everett Senior Activity Center, 3025 Lombard St., will be open until 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
