EVERETT — One of two people charged with murder in the 2000 death of a mail-order bride from the former Soviet state of Kyrgyzstan is scheduled to appear in court this morning, possibly to plead guilty, Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney James Krider said late Monday.
Daniel Kristopher Larson may plead guilty to a charge of second-degree murder, according to a statement issued by Krider’s office.
Larson’s scheduled to appear in Superior Court Judge George Bowden’s court in the death of Anastasia King, 20.
Larson and the young woman’s husband, Indle Gifford King Jr., 40, each have been charged with first-degree murder counts. Krider’s announcement indicates the prosecutor will amend the charge in Larson’s case.
A judge last week found that prosecutors could use key evidence gathered about Larson.
