EVERETT — Police chased three suspects to Everett on Thursday night following a teen’s fatal shooting in south Seattle.
Around 8:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 7400 block of Rockery Drive S and found a boy with a gunshot wound, Seattle police detective Brian Pritchard wrote in a press release Friday. Paramedics transported the teen to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers pursued a car believed to have fled over 30 miles north to the Madison Avenue Pub at 905 Madison St., Fox 13 reported Friday. Police detained the suspects.
Seattle police did not immediately return a Herald reporter’s phone call Friday morning.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased boy.
