MOSES LAKE — A task force led by the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 50 suspected gang members in a three-day operation this week in Grant County called Basin Clean Sweep.
KXLY-TV in Spokane reported law enforcement officers with federal, state and local agencies served outstanding arrest warrants to take felony suspects off the streets of Moses Lake, Royal City and Mattawa. Officers also seized guns, drugs and cash.
Some of the suspects were turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency as illegal aliens. Others were held for investigation of federal or state charges.
