LYNNWOOD — An investigation involving federal and local drug agents resulted in at least nine arrests Tuesday in Snohomish and King counties, officials said.
“This is an on-going marijuana investigation,” federal Drug Enforcement Administration special agent Jodie Underwood said.
Officers found 475 plants and 46 pounds of processed marijuana, Snohomish County Regional Drug Task Force Cmdr. Pat Slack said.
They also seized $78,000 in cash, seven vehicles and two firearms.
Agents served 10 search warrants by late afternoon.
Five of the homes were in the Lynnwood area. Residences in Edmonds, Bothell, Shoreline and Renton also were searched.
Slack listed nearly a dozen federal, state and local agencies involved in the case, including the IRS, South Snohomish County Drug Task Force, Everett Police Department and Washington State Patrol.
