TACOMA — Police in Tacoma say the body recovered from a ravine is that of an 18-year-old murder victim who disappeared last fall.
KOMO-TV reported that Jesus Isidor-Mendoza was last seen Oct. 22 as he left his mother’s home in the Tacoma suburb of Lakewood to go to class at Pierce College. He was reported missing after he failed to show up at school or at home.
Police say his body was found Sunday in a ravine behind a derelict house. The exact cause of death is pending but police say he died of homicidal violence.
