Police clear driver in Spokane hit-and-run

SPOKANE — Police say an SUV they found last week with front-end damage is not the one sought for a hit-and-run death last month in Spokane.

KHQ-TV reported the owner of the gold SUV has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Investigators are looking for a similar SUV and the driver responsible for killing 55-year-old Don Foster on Feb. 9 near the Mission Street Bridge.
