SNOHOMISH — A 21-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday morning after he was stabbed in the stomach, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 9:15 a.m. to the scene in the 7600 block of 199th Avenue SE. The wounded man was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
A 19-year-old man reportedly drove away. Deputies soon found and arrested him.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, the two men were coworkers. They reportedly were arguing before the stabbing. Deputies found a knife they believed was used in the attack.
Deputies were expected to book the suspect in the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.
