STANWOOD — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released a description of a suspect after a reported attempt to abduct a child outside of Stanwood over the weekend.
A 10-year-old girl said a man approached her around 7:45 p.m. Saturday while she was on a rope swing in the 1600 block of 316th Street NW. It is a rural area with little foot traffic.
Another child reported seeing a middle-aged man on a bicycle on the road in front of the property. The man was described as bald, skinny, average height and wearing a blue or green sweatshirt or shirt. The bike was described as silver with black tires.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office tip line at 425-388-3845.
