SEATTLE — Seattle police are looking at video they hope will identify a man who attacked a University of Washington student with a hammer as she moved her car near campus.
Seattle police Chief Gil Kerlikowske says investigators are trying to enhance the video.
The attack on Jan. 8 may have been an attempted carjacking. The 22-year-old woman was able to drive to a traffic gate on campus to ask for help.
Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
