MARYSVILLE – Police are investigating the stabbing death of a Marysville man and have arrested another Marysville man in connection with the death.
A woman called 911 about 11:10 p.m. Sunday night, reporting that her boyfriend had been stabbed and she was looking for a hospital, Marysville commander Steve Winters said. The man died sometime between the woman calling for help and arriving at Cascade Valley General Hospital in Arlington. It wasn’t clear if he died in the car or at the hospital, Winters said.
Police went to the couple’s residence in the 6700 block of 60th Place NE, where the woman’s uncle answered the door. He had blood on him and officers discovered blood inside the house, Winters said.
The man was taken into custody by police. Investigators have been speaking with him this morning.
Police believe the victim was stabbed in the chest inside the house. All three live at the residence but it isn’t clear why the two men were arguing, Winters said.
