EVERETT — Three homes were shot at, but no one was injured in a drive-by shooting Monday night.
Police are looking for two men in a silver sports car.
"These are not drug houses; I want to emphasize that," Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said. "They were not targeted. These are innocent victims."
Two houses in the 1900 block of Douglas Avenue were shot at around 8:04 and 8:05 p.m., and a house in the 1900 block of 51st Avenue SE was hit at 8:12 p.m.
The homes are located east of Everett north of the Hewitt Avenue trestle. The two men also shot at road signs, Jorgensen said.
"These were not BBs, they were bullets," she added.
Sheriff’s deputies were inside homes retrieving the rounds for testing. Anyone with information on the shootings should call 911.
"They were out on a joyride shooting randomly," Jorgensen said. "They belong in jail. Innocent people could have been killed."
