EVERETT — Police are looking for an Edmonds man they believe caused a serious injury collision late Wednesday night.
The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. near O’Finnigans Pub &Grill in the 13600 block of Highway 99, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said.
The man, 42, reportedly pulled out of a parking lot in front of a southbound Acura Legend, officials said.
The driver of the Acura was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with what appeared to be a broken leg, Leary said. A 16-year-old passenger in the car wasn’t seriously hurt.
Detectives believe the driver who caused the accident ran off. They were still looking for him this morning.
Traffic in the area was rerouted for several hours while police investigated.
