MILL CREEK — A 63-year-old Mill Creek man was accidentally shot by his son early Friday.
Mill Creek Police said the man’s son fired several shots shortly after midnight in what was initially believed to be a burglary at the home at the 1700 block of 148th St SE.
One bullet struck the father, who called 911 to report the shooting. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police preliminary investigation indicates the son may have mistaken his father for an intruder.
There were no signs of forced entry at the home. A police dog found no suspects.
