Last night reporter Rikki King heard an Everett police officer chatting on the scanner about an unusual call he responded to at the McDonalds at 4020 Colby Ave.
Around 7 p.m. someone brought a live chicken into the restaurant stuffed in a purse and then left both in the bathroom.
The supervisor called the police to pick up the rogue bird. Hilarity ensued.
Today the Everett police spokesman said he didn’t have any information about a call involving a chicken. However, a supervisor at the McDonalds, who only would identify herself as Melissa, confirmed the chicken story.
