BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — Bainbridge Island police said a woman and her 12-year-old son awoke early Sunday to find a man pouring gasoline over them and threatening to light them on fire.
The Kitsap Sun reported that the woman and the boy were able to escape and run from the home to a nearby apartment complex, where residents called police. Officers said they received only minor injuries.
Police were looking for a former boyfriend of the woman.
