LYNNWOOD — Police were searching near Lynnwood Square this afternoon after a man attempted to rob the Key Bank at 19820 44th Avenue W. in Lynnwood.
No one was injured in the incident, which occurred just before 5 p.m, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
The man passed a note to a teller demanding cash. He ran away empty handed.
The robber was described as white, tall and thin, thin, and appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s. He has brown hair and wore a brown stocking-cap with a black and gray checked scarf and dark gray jacket during the holdup.
