MARYSVILLE — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery that happened Thursday.
At about 1:30 p.m., a man drove through the drive-through of an espresso stand in the 5900 block of Grove Street, implied he had a gun and demanded that the money be placed in a paper bag. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled in the white Toyota Camry.
Police later learned the car had been stolen in Everett. It was found abandoned a couple of blocks away; witnesses said the suspect got into a blue Honda driven by another man.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early to mid-20s, and dirty in appearance. He was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt.
Anyone with any information should contact Detective Sgt. Jeff Goldman at 360-651-5060.
