EVERETT — Police in Everett are hoping to track down a man after he allegedly crashed into two cars while driving a stolen SUV Thursday afternoon.
The officer tried to pull over the Volkswagen Touareg around 1 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Casino Road. The driver refused to stop and the SUV struck a vehicle that had stopped, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
Police did not pursue the driver out of safety concerns.
The SUV later struck another car at the intersection of 108th Street SW and Washington Way before running into a fence, Snell said.
The man ran off and a police dog was unable to track him down. The vehicle had been stolen, Snell said.
Police talked with a passenger afterward, but were still working to identify the driver.
