Police seek driver who hit 3-year-old in Everett

EVERETT — A driver Friday afternoon sped away after hitting a 3-year-old boy.

Police on Saturday morning were looking for the vehicle that hit the boy around 1 p.m. in the 10900 block of 10th Drive SE, Everett Police Sgt. John DeRousse said. The boy’s father took him to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

After hitting the child, the driver struck a fence and fled northbound, DeRousse said.

The suspect vehicle was described as a white or light-colored Ford Taurus or a similar vehicle, DeRousse said.
