CLINTON — Investigators in Island County are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a bank in Clinton on Tuesday.
The man entered the Whidbey Island Bank just before 1:30 p.m., officials said. He claimed to have a weapon and demanded money.
He was dressed in blue jeans, a dark coat and sunglasses, with a red scarf around his face.
He was last seen running northbound on Highway 525.
The Island County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information, including anyone who might have seen the man in the area, to call detective Rick Felici at 360-321-4400.
