EVERETT — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men investigators believe were involved in a shooting Sunday night in the Glacier View Neighborhood.
The victim, a 24-year-old man who lived in an apartment in the 5400 block of Colby Avenue, was severely wounded and listed in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His name has not been released and police have withheld other details about his injuries.
"We don’t believe it was random," police Sgt. Boyd Bryant said, declining to release further details.
Detectives worked throughout the night Sunday and all day Monday gathering evidence at the crime scene and interviewing witnesses.
According to the initial investigation, two men were involved in the shooting and at least two other people were at the apartment immediately before the shooting, Bryant said. Police are asking the public’s help to identify witnesses and those suspected of committing the crime.
Police described those involved in the shooting as two white men — one about 5 feet, 6 inches and 140 to 150 pounds wearing a light-blue fleece pullover shirt, and the other 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches, 140 to 150 pounds, wearing a green fleece pullover shirt with a hood. Both men wore blue bandannas over their faces.
