SEATTLE — King County sheriff’s detectives said a woman involved in a shooting in the Skyway area south of Seattle is armed and extremely dangerous.
Deputies said the woman is mentally ill and suffers from extreme paranoia.
Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart said a resident of a group home walked into the kitchen on Wednesday and began firing a handgun in an unprovoked attack. The 59-year-old woman who owns the home was seriously wounded in the stomach.
Urquhart said officers are looking for 51-year-old Ayanna Shamari, who is believed to be driving a beige Ford van.
