LAKE STEVENS — Police are asking for help finding a woman who may have been seen with Phillipa Evans-Lopez before she was killed in Lake Stevens June 17.
Last week, Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives arrested Anthony E. Garver, 25, in connection with the killing. He’s being held without bail.
Garver told police that he and Evans-Lopez spent time with another young woman in the days before the killing.
The woman is described as about 18 to 22 with blond hair. She may have been wearing a sports jersey. She may have been seen in a red GMC sport utility vehicle.
Evans-Lopez was stabbed to death. She was 20.
