LYNNWOOD — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a bank on Friday.
The robbery happened just before 12:30 p.m. at the Chase Bank on 184th Street Southwest, according to a Facebook post by Lynnwood police.
Tellers described the man as 55 or older, about 6-foot, 210 pounds. He had a “low raspy voice” and olive-toned skin, the post says.
The man handed a bank employee a note that said he had a gun and wanted money, according to police.
He stole “an undisclosed amount of cash,” the post says. No employees were hurt during the robbery.
“Our Crime Scene Technicians processed the scene for finger prints but we wanted to distribute this surveillance image along with the description as soon as possible,” police said in the post.
Anyone with information about the man pictured should contact Lynnwood police by calling 425-670-5633 or emailing rsattarov@lynnwoodwa.gov.
