LYNNWOOD — Police plan a community meeting this week to warn neighbors about a convicted sex offender who will be living in the 5500 block of 176th Street SW.
Christopher Lee Shelley, 31, is a Level III offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.
Shelley pleaded guilty to second-degree child rape in King County in 2001. The victim in that crime was a 12-year-old girl. Shelley also was convicted of first-degree child rape in 1995 in Snohomish County. The victims in that crime were boys aged 6 and 9. He also has a conviction for assault with sexual motivation involving two teen girls, and two convictions for burglary.
He is described as white with blue eyes and brown hair. He is about 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds.
The meeting is planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lynnwood Municipal Court on the second floor at 19321 44th Ave. W.
