Republican Rep. George Nethercutt will bring his campaign for the U.S. Senate to several Snohomish County cities Saturday.
Nethercutt is challenging incumbent U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash.
At 1 p.m., Nethercutt’s “Expect More” bus is scheduled to arrive at Ramo Realty, 16710 Smokey Point Blvd. in Arlington.
He’ll spend a half-hour there, then head to Wagner Insurance, 1375 State Ave. in Marysville. After that, he’ll be at the Snohomish County Republican Party headquarters in Everett for a 2:35 p.m. event. The office is at 3719 Rucker Ave.
Nethercutt’s final stop in the county is at 3:30 p.m. at Harvey Field in Snohomish. He will be in building C-15 at 9832 Airport Way.

Anti-Kerry movie free on Sunday
The public is invited to a screening of the feature-length documentary “Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal,” 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Mukilteo Public Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
The film documents reactions of Vietnam prisoners of war to John Kerry’s anti-war statements and activities when he returned home from his Navy service in the war. The film is being presented by Kierstin Young. For more information, e-mail her at k_young8@msn.com.
Volunteers doorbell for the Democrats
On Saturday, thousands of Volunteers for a New America will be going door-to-door across Washington state.
The volunteers will walk precincts and knock on doors on behalf of presidential candidate John Kerry, gubernatorial hopeful Chris Gregoire, U.S. Sen. Patty Murray and other Washington Democrats.
Volunteers have been working for months staffing phone banks in 28 Democratic campaign offices across the state.
