SEATTLE – Washington Citizen Action, a nonpartisan statewide public interest group, will train people to register new voters on Saturday.
People of all political persuasions and from all communities are invited.
The training begins at 10 a.m. in Seattle’s Labor Temple, 2800 First Ave.

Kristiansen kickoff will feature Rossi
MARYSVILLE – State Rep. Dan Kristiansen, R-Snohomish, will officially launch his re-election campaign today with a “red, white and blue barbecue” at Mountain View Gardens Farm.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi will address the guests.
Kristiansen, who holds Position 1 in the 39th Legislative District, is seeking a second term in the House of Representatives. He is being challenged by Democrat Joel Selling, vice president of marketing for Woods Creek Consulting Co.
Kristiansen’s kickoff event begins at 6 p.m. at the farm, 11221 51st Ave. NE, Marysville. The event is free, although campaign donations will be accepted.
