Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Rob Beidler plans to meet with the public from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Buzz Inn, 9910 Evergreen Way.
This is a different location than previously announced by Beidler.
Beidler is running for Snohomish County sheriff. The primary is Aug. 21. The two candidates who earn the most votes will move on to the general election in November.
County GOP annual picnic Saturday
Snohomish County Republicans plan their annual picnic from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Langus Riverfront Park, 400 Smith St., Everett.
Music, debate, political candidates and elected officials are expected at the event.

Environmental groups plan rally
Washington Conservation Voters plan to campaign around the county on Saturday in support of Snohomish County Council candidate Brian Sullivan.
Group leaders said they endorsed Sullivan for his environmental record in the state Legislature.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday at 2110 Hewitt Ave., Everett, and is part of the lobbying group’s “Day of Action.”
