Koster holds fundraiser at restaurant

EVERETT — Congressional hopeful John Koster, a Republican Snohomish County councilman, is hosting a $75-a-head Memorial Day fundraising dinner.

Koster is running for the Republican nomination for Washington state’s 2nd Congressional District, now held by U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, a Democrat.

Special guests include U.S. Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., and KVI (950 AM) talk-show host Kirby Wilbur.

The event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shawn O’Donnell’s Restaurant, 122 128th Street SE, Everett.

On the menu are steak, salmon and Caesar salad. Business-casual attire is suggested.
