PORT ORCHARD — Port Orchard fire officials are calling a three-alarm apartment fire suspicious and asking police to investigate.
South Kitsap Fire and Rescue spokesman Mike Wernet told the Kitsap Sun the circumstances of the Thursday night fire were somewhat suspicious.
Two men and a woman escaped by crawling out a bathroom window onto a roof. They were treated at Harrison Medical Center for scratches, bruises and smoke inhalation. Two other men and a 5-year-old boy escaped unharmed.
The fire broke out after 8 p.m. and smoke was visible throughout Sinclair Inlet.
