ARLINGTON — A collision on I-5 near Smokey Point left one person with potentially life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened around noon in the northbound lanes, just north of 172nd Street N.E. Two patients were taken to a hospital by Marysville Fire District responders, and a third was tended to at the scene.
