Post Middle School students in January went on a field trip led by Arlington Natural Resource Manager Bill Blake to study the frozen floodplain in their own back yard.
Students learned about erosion, weatherization, geology and stormwater management as they toured Eagle Creek, old farmland and Country Charm Park and Conservation Area. The tour ended near a large glacial erratic, a rock that has been the subject of aerial photos since 1933 to help document the river’s movement.
