Two protests are planned at the Capitol and Democrats are the target of both.
At 10 a.m., those stirred up by the Evergreen Freedom Foundation will be arriving for the Push Back, No Tax rally.
This event is intended to send a message to the majority Democrats to deal with a $2.8 billion budget deficit by cutting spending by the state not raising taxes on residents and business owners.
At noon, the other side of the debate will be heard. Several thousand people are expected at a demonstration organized by the Rebuilding Our Economic Future coalition.
The message of this side to Democrats is rather than reduce spending on schools, health care and social services, raise revenue to sustain current levels of funding in those areas.
