WALLA WALLA — A Washington State Penitentiary guard has been charged with threatening to kill his estranged wife and a man she started dating.
Adam D. Snyder, 23, was charged Wednesday in Walla Walla County Superior Court with two counts of harassment and one count each of stalking and violation of a no contact order.
Snyder, who has been employed at the penitentiary since 2007, was placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of his case.
The harassment charges accuse Snyder of threatening to kill his wife, Stephanie D. Snyder, and Grant G. Goddard, through various written letters and notes between Oct. 13 and Jan. 24. The Snyders are in the midst of a divorce.
