Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, city council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council is scheduled to vote on a proposal that could lead to the sale of city-owned land to Seattle developer Touchstone Corp. to build a 10-story building with a hotel.

Granite Falls Planning Commission, 7 p.m. today, City Hall, 206 S. Granite Ave. A hearing is scheduled on the planned installation of a wastewater diffuser in the Pilchuck River.

Everett Historical Commis­sion, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Wall Street Building eighth floor hearing room, 2930 Wetmore Ave. The commission is scheduled to hear an update on a downtown historic preservation plan.

Snohomish County Agricultural Advisory Board, 10 a.m. today, Willis Tucker Conference Room, third floor of the county administration building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The agenda includes updates on agriculture sustainability efforts and steering development from farmland into urban areas.

Monroe City Council study session, 7 p.m. today, City Hall, 806 W. Main St., Monroe. The council plans to discuss e-mail policy and guidelines for appointed and elected public officials.
