Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The city’s planning department is scheduled to give a presentation on proposed new residential standards for neighborhoods just outside the downtown area, as well as an expansion of a historic district into the Riverside Neighborhood. The presentation will last 30 to 45 minutes.

Snohomish City Council, 7 tonight, George Gilbertson Boardroom, 1601 Ave. D. The council is scheduled to consider authorizing circulation of a petition for the 87th Avenue SE annexation, among other items.

Monroe City Council, 7 tonight, at City Hall, 806 W. Main St. A public hearing on a proposed franchise agreement with Comcast cable is among the agenda items.

Snohomish County Council, 9 and 10:30 a.m. today, eighth floor council chambers, Drewel Administration Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The council’s committees plan to meet to discuss county property and stricter reserve policies.
