Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. today, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The Council is scheduled to vote on a $400,000 contract with Ebenal General of Bellingham to make tenant improvements to the fifth and sixth floors of the Wall Street Building.

Everett Public Facilities District Board, 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Conference Room 1, Hansen Conference Center, 2000 Hewitt Ave. The Board is scheduled to approve new sponsorship agreements.

Snohomish County Council, 9 a.m. today, eighth-floor meeting room of the county administration building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The council plans to consider appointing an independent salary commission for elected officials and a contract for Gold Bar police services. During a public hearing scheduled for 10:30 a.m., the council will consider whether to hire a diversity expert in county government.

Lake Stevens Arts Commission, 6:30 p.m. today, Annex, 1812 Main St. The commission is scheduled to discuss changing its meeting date and place. More info: 425-334-1012.
