EDMONDS — Sounder North commuter rail service is canceled the rest of the week after heavy rains caused landslides and threaten more.
The train, which runs weekday mornings and afternoons between Everett and Seattle, had been suspended Monday and Tuesday after a mudslide Sunday between the Edmonds and Mukilteo stations and then a landslide Monday between Seattle and Edmonds.
Buses providing direct service to and from Seattle will operate at scheduled Sounder times from each station. Riders interested in finding other routes can use the online Sound Transit trip planner at https://bit.ly/3nkPLoP.
