RAYMOND — A driver who had stopped to pull a dead deer off Highway 6 in Pacific County was struck by a car that came upon the scene.
The Washington State Patrol said the 56-year-old Raymond woman, Rebecca Nicolich, was hit Wednesday night by the mirror of the car as it swerved around her.
The Daily World of Aberdeen reported she was flown to Tacoma General Hospital with serious head injuries.
