ABERDEEN, Wash. — The Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved a five-day razor clam dig beginning this weekend on the coast.
Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks will all be open in the morning hours for digging April 19-20. Twin Harbors will be open for three additional days, April 21-23.
Shellfish biologist Dan Ayres says if enough clams remain, another dig may be held in May.
Diggers must have a fishing license and keep the first 15 clams taken, regardless of size.
