SEATTLE — A reminder it’s still winter: Low temperatures early today dipped below freezing in many parts of Washington.
Meteorologist Mike McFarland at the National Weather Service office in Seattle said Sea-Tac Airport tied its record low of 28.
Some other pre-dawn temperatures: Bellingham 29, Bremerton 30, Everett 31, Olympia 27, Longview-Kelso 34, Vancouver 38, Yakima 20, Wenatchee 32, Walla Walla 33 and Spokane 25.
McFarland says rain is expected to move into the state tonight, and with the snow level at 1,000 feet there could be wet snow in places.
A more-typical wet weather system is expected to blow into the state on Thursday.
