The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross is sending five volunteers to assist in flood relief efforts in the northeast United States.
Volunteers are heading to New Jersey, Massachusetts and New Hampshire to assist with food, beverages, physical and mental health care, family casework and other emergency needs. They are Steve Taylor of Gold Bar, Marilyn Nadeau of Edmonds, Beth Atkins of Marysville, Hunter Mackay of Bothell and Bill Westlake of Shoreline.
